Ways to Give

The Parish is supported financially by its parishioners and friends.
The church does not receive financial support from the Anglican Diocese, rather, the church contributes to the Diocese.

There are many ways that you can give financially to support the general work of St Jude’s. These include:

Cash/Cheque

Cash/cheque contributions can be made via the

Other Financial Information

In accordance with Diocesan requirements, the Church Wardens are accountable for the Parish finances and present detailed financial statements to the Annual General Meeting of Parishioners, held about March of each year.  These statements are reviewed by an Independent Assurance Practitioner, also in accordance with the Sydney Diocesan requirements.  The Parish of St Jude’s is registered for GST.

Income received by the parish is used to pay the stipend of its full time Ministry Staff and to pay the wages of part time Ministry and Administrative staff. Payment of these stipends and wages includes PAYG tax and superannuation contributions.  The church contributes to the support of ministry within the local region as well as Mission enterprise both in Australia and overseas. Other payments cover the running costs and maintenance of the church complex and residences for our three ministers.

From time to time the Parish has been fortunate to be the beneficiary of bequests.  Our practice is that one tenth of all bequests, unless otherwise directed, goes toward the financial support of missions and the balance is used to undertake repairs and maintenance of our property as well as to provide for ministry.

The St Jude’s Music Association Inc. has the primary objective of promoting the performance of quality music within the Southern Highlands of NSW.  The music association is a separate legal entity and has tax deductible status for donations toward the development and maintenance of the pipe organ.
