Gavin Perkins Senior Minister

Gavin commenced his ministry with us on the 1^st February 2018. Previous to the role at St Jude’s, he was Senior Assistant Minister of St Thomas’ North Sydney for six years.Gavin was also Course Director of Cornhill, Sydney, involved in writing courses and lecturing in training people in ministry with a view to improving their preaching.

He was Assistant Minister at St Ives for seven years, and was Bishop Peter Hayward’s catechist at Beverley Hills. He spent two years ministering in the residential colleges of London University for St Helen’s Bishopsgate. He is a member of the Diocesan Doctrine Commission and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Leadership and Ministry Management at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Illinois.

Gavin says ‘My family and I are so excited about joining the people of St Jude’s. It is a new chapter for us, and for the church as well. We are so grateful for the prayers of many and are deeply conscious of being strengthened by the Lord. Our God is good, and we anticipate with enthusiasm what he will do in and through the church by his Word and Spirit.’
