Church is a community formed by faith in Jesus. Because of this, we gather to spur one another on in faith in small groups (connect groups). These groups are to deepen our faith in God through the reading and studying of his word the Bible. It is here we have an active relationship with Jesus and seek out his leading on our lives through the Spirit. Second is to deepen our community and fellowship. Here we can look out for one another and share what is happening in each of our lives.

If you would like to know more about our small groups, please contact us and we will see that you find a small group to connect with. Some of the groups are; SALT (retired men’s discipleship), Women’s Bible Study and mid-week Bible Study groups.

Connect Groups

The Bible has a central position of authority in all the doings of St Jude’s and as such we love to get together and study, unpack, discuss and submit to God’s incredible story of saving people through Jesus.

We meet at many different times and places throughout the week in order to make the Bible available to all who want to live a life with Jesus. There are more than 30 Connect Groups (Bible study groups) associated with St Jude’s meeting and praying in homes, at church and retirement villages throughout the highlands.

These include a women’s connects group with a crèche for babies & pre school-age children (Monday 10:30 am – 12pm), evening groups for men and working women, a youth group on Friday nights and numerous mixed groups.

For details regarding a particular group or time contact the church office or phone 02 4862 4383.

As a part of the body of Christ, we believe the Bible to be the authentic words of God. Not simply powerful literature but living words capable, through the power of God’s Holy Spirit, of transforming lives.
