38 Bendooley Street Bowral Sunday Services: Auditorium 9:30am & 5:30pm, Traditional 8am, 9:30am and 4pm.
Please find a seat with your children and enjoy the first part of our gathering together. Usually a children’s talk takes place at the beginning of the service and then the service leader will indicate the time for the children to leave and go with their leaders to their allocated rooms. Once in their rooms, kids be given a name tag and welcomed to the group. Please complete a registration form when you are ready to attend regularly. Of course, your children are welcome to stay with you during the service. There is a parenting room available for parents with infants.
The children will be returned to the service at its conclusion.
A parenting room is attached to the New Church Building and is available for parents of infants if needed. This room is equipped with comfy chairs and a few toys and books. The sound is fed through, and a large window allows you to be involved.
All children begin the morning in the service with their parents. A children’s talk will usually take place at the beginning of the service before the children move out to their age-appropriate program. Children then re-join their parents in the service at its conclusion. We have kids programs at 9.30am & at 5.30pm on a Sunday during term time.
Teams of loving leaders teach our very youngest children (confident walkers to kindergarten). Children learn about Jesus through Bible stories, play, music and craft in a caring environment.
Kids in school years 123 & 456 are encouraged to believe and trust in Jesus and to live for him. Children are taught through games, stories, drama, craft, activities and small group discussions.
Arvo Club is a place where ‘tween-age’ kids get to enjoy games, food, have fun with friends and discover Jesus and what it means to follow him in a relaxed and safe environment. Our program begins with arrival time, afternoon tea and then games that are easy to join in with as children arrive from school. Our teaching and activity time begins at 4pm. After that, there’ll probably be enough time for another game or two! All leaders are Safe Ministry trained and those over 18yrs have a WWCC so parents can feel reassured that their children are being well cared for. If you would like any further information, please email our Children’s Minister Jaryd Hoffman firstname.lastname@example.org
This program is open to any Yr 5 or 6 student and their friends. If you are registering for the first time this year or if your details or transport arrangements have changed, please complete a registration form when you come in on a Friday afternoon.
