Latest Care Update

Through our sermons over the last 2 weeks, we have explored what a Caring Community looks like through 1 Timothy 5. The clip below provides examples of some Care that members of St Jude’s are involved in. If you would like to minister and support our members through meals and/or the Action Team, then please email Kate – she would love to hear from you! kate@bowralanglican.org.au

With the diversity of how our members are attending church at present ie. some have returned to face-to-face gatherings while others are viewing church from home, we thought it would be helpful to produce a care clip every few weeks as a way of keeping people connected. This clip reiterates the Christian Care Model at St Jude’s as we strive to care for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

CHRISTIAN CARE: View from July 22

Thanks to all who have contributed their time, experience and expertise to the Care Clips – it has been a true blessing and joy to myself and the members of St Jude’s.

As social restrictions start to lift, we are exploring what our “new normal” may look like. There will be some aspects of our lives that will return to normality and other aspects that we are pleased have changed. However, other situations and settings will be different and we will grieve for what we once had. This type of grief is explored in an interview with Sarah Condie (from Anglican Deaconess Ministries) and Jill McGilvray (author, grief expert and lecturer) and is excellent viewing for all as they normalise what we may be feeling and give tips as to how to best deal with this type of grief. Please click on the link below to view the interview.
